“In 2025, Hristina Ivanoska was entrusted with the design of the EVN’s holiday greeting card. The motif she has provided is an overlaying of eight cut-out drawings of letterforms, which together make up the title, BLOSSOMS. The artist merges the ethereal with handicraft, a key element of her artistic practice.

Hristina Ivanoska’s original typography is not just for linguistic communication but unfolds an aesthetic terrain through which identity and diversity become visible. Typography is viewed as a culturally coded medium to be deconstructed and reimagined.

As the year draws to a close, the work invites us to focus on fundamental forms. Its delicate structures stand for qualities like mindfulness and concentration. In a time of change and complexity, we are reminded that strength lies in togetherness and connection.”
